Membership Information

• Those eligible to join shall be at least 18 years of age

• Those eligible to join shall have attended one regular meeting as a guest or prospective member.

Types of Membership

• Active:

  • Shall be entitled to all rights and privileges, and shall assume all responsibilities of membership.

  • Is expected to participate on one committee.

  • Annual Dues are $20.00.

• Associate: 

  • Active members may become associate members only after they have been active for one year and submitted written notice to the Vice President.  Eligibility will be decided upon by the Executive board.  Associate members may become active members.  Change in membership must be declared by June 1.

  • Shall be entitled to attend, and participate in all meetings and functions of the Club, but shall not serve on the Executive Board or as an officer.

  • Shall not be entitled to move, second or vote upon any matter except the election of officers.

  • Not required to be a committee member.

  • Annual Dues are $40.00

• Honorary:  May be conferred upon one who has rendered distinguished service to the Club upon unanimous consent of the Executive Board.  All Past Presidents shall retain their right to vote.

Payment Of Dues

• Returning member dues are payable by June 1 (the beginning of the plan year).  Dues for new members are payable when they join.  Dues shall be half the amount for the rest of the Club Year for those joining after December 1.

• Members failing to pay dues by June 30, forfeit their membership, unless for good and sufficient reasons, the Executive Board extends their time.  Official notice of action shall be sent to members regarding their status.

Standing Rules

1. Each Active member should attend meetings regularly.

2. Each Active member is encouraged to volunteer in the community.

3. Each member is expected to either contribute items for the Annual Auction or to donate $30.00 that will be used to purchase items for the auction.

4. Each Active member, with the exception of the President, shall serve on the hostess committee once each year.

5. Active members, are expected to serve on one committee other than the Ways and Means Committee or Hostess Committee.

6. Each member shall be entitled to one copy of the yearbook (membership list, club calendar, By-Laws).  Additional copies are to be secured from the Membership Chairperson for a small fee.

7. Members may join the Recreation group at their option.

8. The membership list shall not be used for the purpose of soliciting.
